Model of Classroom Building with new entry pavilion - final version |
Our work for the Center is multi-phased and began with the renovation of the classroom building. Two additons have been designed, the entry pavilion on the left in the photo above and the kiln room on the far right. The open columned structure on the extreme right is an open air kiln and forge area that currently exists. These two additions are as of yet unbuilt awaiting funding. In this first phase, we renovated the interior and produced much needed improvements and updates to the systems and finishes. We transformed a low ceilinged dark weaving studio into a bright, top lit multi-purpose studio that will find many uses.
